The idea here is to allow certain individuals access to manage certain aspects of certain events such as but not limited to (check-in, email, registration, waitlist management, etc)

is this so that we dont have to have an "instructor" as a person running a group play event?  for example, right now someone has to be an "instructor" to be the name on a group play event which doesn't make sense... because 1) they aren't instructors, 2) I'll be having a lot of different coordinators eg often just a member and I shouldn't have to pay $5/month for each of them.

Hey Dave,

This is more geared towards member-organized play. Say you have a member named bob that organizes a men's group every wednesday with 8 players. This is to give Bob access to be able to plug all those names into the event so that the pro shop doesn't have to.

On the other hand, I have also noticed the "instructor" conflict that you are speaking of, and would vote for it if you end up pursuing.

ok i will post that idea to the ideaboard now

Up Next

We are planning on adding the concept of Event Coordinators very soon!

checking on status of adding event coordinators.  I've been paying for 7 "instructors" for months, but I only actually have 4 instructors, because three of them I need to classify as "instructors" for the purposes of sticking them on as event coordinators.

Is this the same as having a Team Captain being able to book practice courts or Open Reservation for his team? For instance Bob is captain and has to do 20 emails to all his players to see who will commit to practice.  If he could create a Open reservation and players can sign up that would be great.

In Progress

No, but it would allow Bob the ability to access the admin side and only update events that the admin designated. Right now sub admin permission is updating all or no events. This will make it at the event level if desired.
So you could take registrations for a Team practice, and then Bob could go in and book courts based on the number of people that sign up. Or Bob could email member groups through the email function and send out the registration link that way.
