Wondering the status of this? We would LOVE to be able to restrict event registrations similar to what is available for court reservations.

Would love to see this. I was told by live support that free memberships do not have that date selection, unfortunately, but being able to auto-set the change to the default 'free' memberships would be key. We have to go in and manually do it at the end of the month based on seeing who has cancelled their paid membership, and being able to set the 'free' membership to kick in would save SO much time.
