The idea here is to be able to replace the CourtReserve email text with your own custom text for each email / notification that is sent out.

Again we wanted a program that would allow us to communicate to our members with ease and we found it with Court Reserve.
Great idea.
The ability to customize the Welcome email with Club info such as new gate code, updates etc would be advantages.
The Welcome email is currently restricted to members that have not logged into CR.
Add the functionality to identify & choose members that purchase a membership (irrespective if they have or have not logged into CR) to receive this email to ensure all purchasers receive relevant info. Also adding the functionality to choose/deselect any members for the distribution list would improve the functionality & application
We would like to customize the system response when an inactive member tries to make a reservation. Rather than Membership Inactive! we would tell the member what procedure to follow to reactivate.
The ability to create custom email reminders per event category rather than just events broadly. So we could customize what equipment to bring for a lesson versus regular play or the style of play for an event or special instructions for mixers, round robins or even different sports.
Along with this, it would be nice to have custom registrations emails. That way you can have multiple registrations but specific emails for the event.

When sending mass emails, sometimes some of the filter criteria are used to target a specific audience. I would be a nice feature to show the filters that were used when reviewing a previously used mass email.

We have a project coming where we will be revamping all these alerts, as well as letting you have full control to modify as you see fit!
I think along with this idea there are already a lot of great email services out there that specialize in just this area. Instead of reinventing the wheel, if we could have our CR email list integrate with a third party email service (unsubscribe list and new users added automatically) then that would help our club out tremendously.
We have specific communication that we know nobody is reading in the description tab based on the large sum of email questions we receive that are answered in the description tab. To be able to add more information to the confirmation email will help make sure our players are reading the necessary information for the event.
even having the description reposted in the confirmation emails would be super helpful.
It would also be amazing if the email system would allow addition of "mail merge" style fields. So you could write to Dear Tim instead of Dear member,

Awesome. I hope the Welcome email will be customizable based on membership type as well. We use Signal to communicate with our core members and wish to give them the links to join the chats in their welcome email. Our issue is that we have guests & public members within our organization that we don't want on the chats.

Looks like this was supposed to be coming 2 years ago but never did. Did it fall off the list?
There are dozens of email confirmations that are already set up in the system that you guys created. We found an error in one of them where there is an extra space. We are in our pre-sale stages and when someone signups you the welcome email suggests to reserve courts. Our courts are not ready yet and it confuses everyone.
I have a customized email confirmation for a tennis clinic – an ‘event’ – that we have every week. On it there are specialized instructions of what to do to cancel one’s spot at the last minute.
I just set up registration for a one-time social event. Because the above custom email does not apply to this social, I have to delete the custom clinic email until the social is over, or it will get attached to the confirmation to the registrants of the one-time event.
All ‘events’ are definitely not the same, so the ability to create multiple confirmation emails would be useful and appreciated.
Hi Kevin! Thank you for your post! I'm going to merge this with another topic around customizing system emails. We are currently working on a project that will allow the admin to update all system emails and make the choice about what to include in emails.
Do you have an estimated time when this customizing of emails will be released?

Kindly requesting a notification with generic or dynamic (merge tags) message to be sent to players who have participated in a private lesson or an event prompting them to sign up for more events at a hardcoded link triggered after X amount of days.
Example: player has a private lesson on 11/11/2024. We configure an email to go out 1 day later thanking the player for taking a private lesson and asking them if they would like to book another one at the link below.
