Ability to set up an event without a date requirement

It would be super helpful to not have to set a date for an event.  Sometimes don't know the exact date or the date shifts over time.  This would also be a way to allow people to sign up for a season-long thing, like an interclub team, and collect the fees.

An additional thought...  I don't think there is a way to turn off notifications for members for an event they are signed up for.  Having notifications be something you can turn off for an event would be amazing too and go hand-in-hand with the idea I wrote about above

I couldn't agree more! We are currently creating a 6am Sunday event in order to allow people to sign up for a box league where they schedule their own matches.
