Unpaid Guest booking not canceled after 15 minutes if booking was edited from Singles to Singles with Guest

If a booking of a reservation type that did not include guests is edited and changed to a reservation type that does allow paid guests, the code to check for payment and cancel after 15 minutes of non-payment does not work.  When i reported this, i was informed that this is considered a feature request, when in my mind, it is a defect.  Nevertheless, here is my feature request to have this hole in the code plugged.
