Automatic cancelations fees for events, lessons and court time

A way to set up a cancellation fee for events, lessons, and court time that are not canceled within a certain window. So if someone cancels a court time within 24 hours, for example, they are required to pay a fee for that canceled time. Same for lessons or events. It would be great to implement this regardless of whether the person cancels online or through our front desk.

While I understand this idea, the majority of our clubs combat this by turning on upfront payments.

Thanks, Tim, I think there are a few reasons we haven’t done it this way. Our cancellation charge for clinics is not the same price as the fee for the class. Additionally, our court costs (and lessons) are split based on membership type. So, the person booking shouldn’t always be charged in full for the court or lesson. If multiple people are on a court or lesson would they all be charged individually if they paid upfront? That said, I will talk to the owner and see how he feels about this. It certainly would be easier administratively, but I'm unsure how our members would feel about it!

Becca,  As long as you have it setup to split equally by player or by membership type, only the person booking is required to pay their part.  Support can help you set it up this way if you wish.  Thanks!
