Partner match up function (King and Queen)

It would be useful for a way for partners to link together for certain events (Sign up at the same time)

example: a "king and queen" or "up and down the river" currently we can only select a custom field stating who their partner is, but this does not sign up the partner. The issue we run into is several teams sign up individually and the event fills up with many disconnected teams. If there was a way to have both partners get signed up together, it would solve this issue and make the player and staff experience better.

Definitely would like the ability for members in a doubles event to see who the whole team is and not just individual players.  They need to be able to see the doubles team they will be playing against.

UPDATE: This is going to development next week.  I would expect it to be available by end of April / early May.

We have events every month now for doubles partners and only allowing the player that registers to be visible by the other players creates a lot of unnecessary emails/text connecting with players to figure out pairs. CourtReserve deals with this so well in other areas. Please make both partners in doubles visible for players to see. Also the waitlist does not work for a doubles partner event. When the waitlist is generated only one player can sign up and they can not sign up with their parnter on the waitlist so the doubles partners are not auto filled with a place becomes available

Kevin,

Just a heads up.  We have been working on our development side of building two features that will really help change the game here.

1.  Team Based Registration: Soon you will be able to setup events for TEAMS, meaning no more custom fields and you will be able to allow each team member register and even pay separately.

2. Our Round Robin manager will be coming out soon with multiple different formats!
