Limit on Number of Events & Menu Bar on Left

I wish we weren't limited to 100 events. I was trying to set it up for 3 years. We rarely change our sessions. Also, is there any way to lock the left screen so that it doesn't scroll while working on the right? I always have to scroll back up to the top. The left menu bar shouldn't scroll. It should be locked.
