Entry Level employee can see company financials
Hi, after chat with a team member I was encouraged to add to the idea board here.
We would like our desk staff to be able to do simply things like refunds on transactions, but currently it looks like there is no way to hide the reports on the Sales Summary tab without removing their ability to do simple tasks related to transactions, like refunds. As a user, I would consider transactions to be broken into one part which are the reports relating to transactions, like the sales summery and others, which may fit better under the "Reports" tab, and then there are the actual individual transactions, which can also simply be viewed by going to the player's profile, which is how we go about refunding folks almost 100% of the time. We use the sales summary to get monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for our financials and currently all of our entry level employees have access to these reports which is massively concerning. We would like to be able to split the reporting part of the transactions apart from the ability to interact with individual transactions on a member's profile.
I hope that made sense! This is very concerning for us, and I imagine others, so hopefully its a simple fix having to do with permissions under system users by having a new checkbox for allowing visibility to transactional reports or something of that nature.
Thank you for your time.

Hi, Curtis,
Thank you for taking the time to share this idea on our board. It was a great improvement suggestion, and I’m happy to let you know that as of this morning, the functionality has been implemented. In the sub-admin permissions list, you’ll now see that “Allow Processing of Refunds” is separate from “Has Access to Transactions.” This will allow sub-admins to process refunds without needing full access to all financial reports. We really appreciate your input—it’s ideas like yours that help us continue to improve CourtReserve.
I'll also add that you will need to go in and manually uncheck "Has Access to Transactions" for any sub-admins that you'd like to make this change for.
