Convenience fees for in person Transactions

Currently, the CR software has a limitation regarding Convenience fees in that:
- Convenience fees cannot be applied to in-person transactions.
Can we add a feature to add a checkbox or the ability to apply a convenience fee for using credit card. Using credit card is a "convenience" in that a customer does not have to go to the bank to grab cash. Also, most businesses in our area are doing this for in-person transactions... especially restaurants.

Additionally, the system adds it when there is a card on file but not when someone is tapping or inserting the card so it doesn't make sense why allow one method over another.
Hi Angela, thank you for sharing this idea! At this time, convenience fees can only be used for online payments. Because there are additional legal and compliance considerations for applying convenience fees to in-person transactions, we don’t currently support that option.
