Add a way to mirror email announcements in the member portal.

We have a new monthly newsletter that we send out to our members as an email announcement.

It would be nice if we had a way to have this and other email announcements display in a feed on the member portal.

I asked Dexter about this, but it seems that, currently, the only option is to manually recreate the announcement as either a global announcement or an article in the News widget.

As a workaround, I tried doing a copy-paste of the email into the body of a news article, but CR threw an error that base64 images are not supported.  :(

I actually just came here to ask for the same feature. What I've been doing is pasting my email into AI and asking it for HTML output, then pasting that HTML into the announcement. Since images are stored in the image library (from the email you sent), you can just insert them where necessary.

It's pretty quick, even though it would be nice to have a one-click to transfer the email into the global announcements.
