Waitlist Still Being Able to Check In

So many entries and don't have time to read them all so first recommendation would be to perhaps clean up the recommendation list to remove those that are 12-mos. or older that are not going to be actioned. Or assign a team to disposition them accordingly. I'm sure there are duplicates.

Main recommendation is ... how do we avoid someone who's on the waitlist from checking in as if they are scheduled to be there? We had someone on waitlist check-in as if they were a regular participant. Luckily person at front desk recognized him and that he was on waitlist.
