Who's Here Today: Improvements for Taking Event Attendance
Hi there! Our team uses a white label app through CourtReserve. For taking attendance, the Who's Here Today page is helpful, because students of multiple events can be on the same page. We would appreciate if the follow updates can be made to serve our students more efficiently.
- Even after checking-in a student, instead of the green Check-In button, the student still has the blue Check-In button. The Who's Here Today page has to be refreshed to get the green button to appear, but on the app, the current process is to navigate away and return to the Who's Here Today page to refresh the page. The extra clicks and second loading can add up with the many students we have checking in at the same time with multiple programs being offered at the same time.
- From the Who's Here Today page, for court assignments, we are seeing something like Court X + 1 more. Could all the court numbers be spelled out to avoid confusion?
- Being able to see information from select custom fields would be helpful for our coaches to better serve our students. We have a custom field for students to inform us of any needs or requests, and I don't believe these are viewable from the Who's Here Today page or when checking them in.

3. Custom fields- We show this on desktop. But i agree, this would be a good improvement to show on the app, too. will add this to our list of improvements.

1. Check-in on mobile app- I've sent this to our developer to review. When testing this on my app, the blue check-in button turned green immediately without navigating away. I'm concerned that it's being slowed down by a lot of data and not appearing like it's instant.
2. Court X + Y more: This displays this way because we have clubs who assign MANY courts to an event. At one time we only showed the first court, but there was a desire for it to indicate that there were many courts on the event. There just isn't space to show every court. If the player is assigned to an individual court on the event, it will only show their court assignment.
Hi there! I sent this to our developer. The check-in on the app's Who's Here Today should be instant. You should not need to back out and go back in to get it to update. I've been unable to recreate this though. If you are not seeing it behave this way, please get a screen recording on your device and send it to our support team. Regarding #1, I made a screen recording of the issue and have sent it to the team through Live Chat.
For #2, I think what will help is to get this change implemented: https://feedback.courtreserve.com/communities/1/topics/1620-assign-students-to-courts-for-an-entire-session. If it's easier for our team to assign courts to students for the whole session, then on Who's Here Today, it'll just show the court that they are assigned to and not take up too much space.
