family group management

The typically family doesn't look the same as it once did, at least in Canada. More families are navigating separations, remarriages, and shared custody arrangements. As a result, we’re seeing increasingly unique family dynamics, which can be difficult to manage within the current system.

It would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to create multiple family groups connected to the same children. For example, Parent A/Step-Parent A and Parent B/Step-Parent B could both have access to the same child profile — meaning there is only one child record in the system, but multiple linked family units.

Ideally, each adult would have an individual account, with family groups existing as a separate layer that connects members. This structure could also support features like automatically cancelling individual memberships when a family membership is purchased.
