Mass Account Deletion

CRBooking Support 3 years ago in Player / Member Functionality updated by Ron (Admin) Franke 1 year ago 7

Could we have an easy way to delete a large number of accounts from our Court Reserve database?  We are in the middle of our first registration renewal process using Court Reserve and would like to delete the people who did not renew their memberships and the people who did not accept our invitations to join from the waitlist (we set up a "waitlist membership type" to use temporarily until the official CR waitlist becomes available).  We plan to first download reports of the people we will delete for our records.

Along the same lines, it would be great if we could do a mass move of people between memberships

@MoorePark Booking.    With the pricing change where they no longer charge for "accounts" change your mind on this feature request?

No because it seems the more people we have in our database, the slower the searches have become.  So we would like to clean up and delete any past members who are no longer part of our club.

You should not see any slowdown in searches based on member count.  Where are you seeing this? A specific report?

The search that seems the slowest is the Member->Families search.  If we enter a name (e.g. Chow),  we often don't get any results (even though there should be some), or the results are slow to come back.

The Member->List search also feels slower but that might not actually be the case.

This is a feature that our Club needs as well. We are a very large Club (close to 1500 members) in a retirement community, and our members must renew their Club membership through the Community Association because the CA will not allow the Club to use CR for credit card or other payments.  We must enter new Club members into CR manually each week. Our membership is annual (ending on 12/31 with a one month grace period) so anyone that does not renew through our CA is removed from our membership list on 2/1. We would then need to manually go into CR and remove/suspend anyone that did not renew. Each year that is likely to be 150-250 people. Would love the ability to do a mass suspension such as by importing a spreadsheet template. Even an option that presents a list of members in CR with a check box next to each member where multiple members could be selected to suspend the accounts and then have an update/save button would be a great step. Still lots of effort, but better than having to do one member at a time.
