Discrepancy between Transaction List & Sales Summary

Mattea McCalip 6 days ago in Reports / Financial Reports 0

The most recent update on the Transaction List, which added a discount column to the report, has now caused a discrepancy between this and the Sales Summary. The subtotal, tax, and new discount columns do not add up according to what was charged on the day we are running the report for.

For example, our Sales Summary for 05/16 shows the following:

-subtotal of $1815.83

-tax of $148.61

-total of $1964.44.

Our Transaction List for 05/16 shows the following:

-subtotal of $1122.29

-discount of -$706.70

-tax of $148.72

-total of $1964.55.

That is a discrepancy of $0.11 for both the tax column and total column. The subtotal column is off by $693.54. The discount column should be $7.34, not -$706.70.

This discrepancy needs to be fixed ASAP as it is interfering with our day to day operations, and the accuracy of our books.
