Bulk email - how do I filter out duplicate email addresses

"Bulk Email doesn’t have a “remove duplicate emails” filter. The best way to avoid duplicates is to make sure your recipient list is already deduplicated before you send.  - Export your member list to a spreadsheet - Remove duplicate email addresses there - Then send your bulk email to that cleaned list"

This is an extra step that I should not have to do when I want to use my whole date base

In Bulk Email, you can narrow the list using filters (like Family role, Member Group, Membership Type, Status, Gender, etc.)

This would be great but when I tried using the family role and removed child (so to prevent duplicate emails), I then notice that any member that was not in a family that email did not get pulled, THEREFORE I suggest that ALL new members are tagged as a PRIMARY when set up.  Otherwise once again I am not catching our whole data base when creating a bulk email.
