Edit Only Future Occurrences of Recuring Events

We currently have the ability to edit only future occurences of recurring reservations, it would be great if we had a similar option for recurring events. Right now, if we edit an event, it will edit all past dates of the event, which isn't ideal. Our only option is to go date-by-date or set up the event again for the date after which we have taken payments, both of which are time consuming.  Thanks for listening.
