Golf Genius integration — extend the tournament/league sync model to golf facilities
CourtReserve already integrates with a third-party tournament platform for tennis, and it works well. We'd like to see the same approach applied to golf through Golf Genius.
Golf Genius is the dominant tournament, league, and event management platform in golf — it's used by a large share of green-grass courses and country clubs for handicapped events, leagues, and outings. It's also gaining real traction with indoor simulator facilities, which are increasingly running structured leagues, member tournaments, and inter-facility competition on the same platform. For an operator like us (a TrackMan simulator lounge with ~120 members running on CourtReserve Enterprise), Golf Genius handles the competition side while CourtReserve handles bays, members, billing, and scheduling — but today those two worlds don't talk to each other.
What an integration could look like (starting simple):
- Event/league sync — a Golf Genius event or league round creates the corresponding bay reservations in CourtReserve, so tee times and simulator slots are booked automatically instead of double-entered.
- Roster sync — Golf Genius participants map to CourtReserve member profiles, so registration in one system reflects in the other.
- Registration and payment through CourtReserve — members sign up and pay for a league or tournament inside CourtReserve (where their card and membership already live), and the entry flows to Golf Genius.
- Results/handicap awareness — even a lightweight link (scores or standings visible in the member app) would be a big win for engagement.
