Make custom fields for guests mandatory

For example, we have custom fields for junior sign ups.  They can bring a guest and those same custom fields appear for the guest but they do not have to fill it in to complete their registration--the system requires for the member but not for the guest.  This means I have to contact EVERY person bringing a guest and ask them the questions they should have answered in the custom field--which defeats the purpose of having a custom field.  We have to do this every junior session.  Please make all custom fields (member or guest) mandatory.
