duplicate name issue

I know this has been brought up several times, but I wanted to go over an option for solving duplicate names.

I know a lot of facilities have dealt with the pain of duplicate people with the same name. When people get signed up incorrectly it causes a pain point for the wrong player being charged and issues for staff. This has lead to confusion, frustration and even people removing their account from court reserve.

one possibly solution would be to have a popup or an alert when you are signing up someone that the system has several duplicate matches with in the system. It would then warn you to make sure you are selecting the correct person, if unsure then verify things like phone number by giving them a call etc.

I am sure there are other solutions, but something needs to be worked on in this area.
