We'd like to automate the batch billing for a date AND time. Or have it kick off as soon as a new membership is added.

Even when the gender field is disabled (as we have done), if your member belongs to an organization where it is still enabled, it will enforce the gender response in the Member Portal. Our subscription is live however we haven't gone live with our members so we're very happy this is in development.I would propose changing the field name to 'Gender Identity' as recommended in Inclusive Language Guidelines.
