This is already an option in the platform.  Just go to settings and check the option to now allow members to update the custom rating.  Let us know if you need assistance finding this option.

You have to understand, players can be part of multiple clubs/organizations using CourtReserve.  My Clubs makes it easy for people to switch between organizations they want to book at if they are part of multiple organizations using our platform, which happens a lot.
