Potentially, merge the News and the Announcement functions?

The Announcement does the job, but is very "ugly".  The News looks visually appealing, but doesn't show in the App.  (also would like for the end result to be seen by anonymous users as well.)

A stretch goal would be to also allow the insertion of a Google AdSense Tag on these custom domain pages.
