There is now a "Please sign below" prompt that appears on the desktop, but that has not been enough to resolve member confusion. Also, that prompt does not appear on the iPhone - see screenshot. I still believe the original suggestion would be better.

Our club does not have contract time, so people are used to booking fast to get their "regular" time slots. Turning the lottery on for all courts and time slots at once would likely be quite disruptive.

It would be great to be able to set the day-of-week and time ranges, and select the courts subject to lottery. One flavor of this, simple but not the most general, would be to be able to turn it on for Prime Times. If that were available, we'd likely try it right away, because those are high-demand times where we especially want fairness.

Very nice! Does the cancellation notice go to everyone on the reservation?

We've had complaints from people whose reservations were canceled without notice, so I'm not sure it is working currently. Can you run a test and confirm that the reservation owner is notified? 

And then, please send an email to all on the reservation, just like a normal reminder except even more critical since it's been canceled.

We are a private club whose only way to show the entry code and other member-only info is the logged-in page. But we are aware that expired members, former members, and so forth can see it, and this represents a security risk for us. We would greatly prefer that former members could not see these pages. We're a little less worried about expired members, since they won't stay in that state for long before their membership is renewed or canceled.

This is an important privacy issue for my club, Our Court - we're a private club, and we need to prevent inactive members from seeing the home page, the Player Directory, existing reservations, events, etc.

For us, the ideal might be that they can log in but all they can do are the items under their account name: Personal Information, etc - especially including Billing > Transactions, so they can pay if we have assigned them a new membership. Once they pay, they'd be a full member able to see everything.
