Great idea and I agree.  I accepted this idea for future development.

I do understand, but not an easy one to pull off.  We are looking at giving a confirmation when you do a move on the scheduler to ask for confirmation.  I do think that will help prevent accidental movies.  Also, disabling drag & drop on the scheduler has seemed to help as well.
