This is currently not on the roadmap to implement into the Kiosk functionality.
We recently added an option to the Kiosk setup that can prevent members from checking in for their next eligible reservation, event, or lesson if they have not yet paid for it. This was done to help in catching those members checking-in that have unpaid fees.
If the member has an unpaid reservation, event, or lesson fee and attempts to check-in, the system will prevent the action and display a message indicating they will need to pay their fees first before checking in.

Hi Johnathon,
The way the "red dot" works on the "TO DO" page is that the system will run a check every 5 minutes to see if any approvals require Admin attention. If at the time of the check, there are items to review, the red dot will appear. The images posted are an example from my org.
If this is not happening in your system, please open a ticket with our support team. The development team will need to review.
