This also affects those that choose to Pay by Check, rather than eCheck or Credit Card via CR.
We use One Time Fee Memberships as we have a specific Start/End date for each season with a single rate for the whole season. We just began the transition from our first season with CR onto our second one and discovered the same issue that Lorraine brings up, where a member that just renewed their 2026/27 membership and requested to Pay by Check finds their new membership has IMMEDIATELY Expired and is not allowing them to Register or Reserve.
We are a 55+ HOA Community Club that has NEVER had someone NOT pay their dues, so we NEED an Initial Grace Period.
I read on the Facebook page for CR Admins that there is a potential beta tester phase for Shogo - can you tell us more?
Our specific challenge is getting our Convenience Fee revenue and Stripe Fee expense for each transaction into QBO - when our bank detail comes into QBO with a lump sum from Stripe that includes these two fees, it is difficult to match the money to the correct accounts.
Looks like Shogo is not the answer?

Agree - we too are hesitant to try it out as the 10-day trial offered by Swish was over by the time we got our test configuration figured out.
We have a limited number of courts (7) and over 400 members, so we have to be able to set a limit to number of Reserve sessions and/or hours signed up for per day...please do not break this functionality in the process of providing a solution for clubs with more courts/fewer players.
If not, Player 1 signs up Players 2,3,4 for a session
Then, Player 2 signs up Players 1,3,4 for the next session
Then, Player 3 signs up Players 1,2,4 for the next...
and players 5-432 complain that they can never get a court!
This is what we're using via our Wix site, that we'd be able to do away with if CR had something similar...

Agree completely with this. We had a day a couple of weeks ago where we had 3 courts available, 6 per court (18 slots) and 11 on the Waitlist
I created a Waitlist Disclosure Letter to add to the most limited events to try to combat it...because invariably a quick check of paddles out revealed that where there should be no more than 6 paddles, there were 9, with all 9 of their owners griping about how long it was taking to rotate in... /sigh
We are accomplishing this manually now by going into the Event Registrants screen and using the Notify via Email function to send an email template from Email History to ask for the Feedback - which points to a Form on our website.
It would be HEAVEN to not have to manually do the emailing AND even better if the CMS connected Form could be hosted on CourtReserve!!

Glad you brought this up - I meant to when we launched and forgot.
Are you talking about Events that have a preset number of players?
If so, I would agree that it would be nice if we started with 4 courts assigned to an Event for a max of 24 players (6 per court in our case) if the system would automatically reduce the courts and max based on how many are signed up by X hours/days in advance...thereby allowing other players to Reserve.
Currently, we check at the end of the day before and do this function manually.

Maybe they will re-evaluate the NOT PLANNED status for my similar request ;)
